What roof-repair includes
A real roof repair starts with a roof inspection, not a sales pitch. We walk the rooftop, check the attic, and photograph every failure point before quoting.
- Inspection of shingle, underlayment, flashing, and vent boot condition
- Roof estimate with line-item scope of work and materials
- Repair or replacement of damaged shingle, tile, or metal panel sections
- Sealing with mastic, roof cement, or appropriate sealant
- Debris haul-off, often via dumpster, plus magnet sweep for nail and fastener
Quality & Materials Standards
Material choice follows the substrate and pitch. Steep-slope homes get fiberglass asphalt shingle, dimensional or laminated; low-slope sections call for modified bitumen, tpo, or epdm membrane. Tile roofs — clay tile and concrete tile — need broken pieces reset and underlayment replaced on schedule.
Code matters. Building code governs decking, ice-and-water shield at valleys and eaves, drip edge, and ventilation. Synthetic underlayment and roofing felt both work, but each has a coverage rate and cure time that must be respected.
For insurance claim work, we document storm damage with photos and measurements. Your adjuster reviews, we provide claim documentation, and a supplement covers missed scope. Know your deductible, depreciation, and replacement cost before signing.
